Experience

Mr. Grimm handles complex commercial and personal injury litigation, including automobile negligence, products liability claims, professional liability claims, premises liability claims and mass torts, including multi-district litigation. Mr. Grimm served on the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee for Multidistrict Litigation arising out of the crash of Continental Airlines Flight 3407 near Clarence Center, New York. Mr. Grimm is the Trustee of a trust established to pay medical expenses on behalf of the victims of the Love Canal toxic waste site. In 1996, he was appointed as a Court Examiner for Guardian Accounts and continues to hold that appointment.

Mr. Grimm serves as counsel to the Lancaster Industrial Development Agency and the Buffalo Fiscal Stability Authority.

Mr. Grimm has lectured on various topics, including discovery and depositions, resolution of liens against personal injury recoveries, legal ethics, and Mental Hygiene Law Article 81.

Mr. Grimm is an active participant in numerous civic and charitable organizations. He is Immediate Past President of FeedMore WNY after taking a leadership role in the merger of Meals on Wheels for Western New York and the Food Bank of Western New York.He also serves as Vice Chair for Upstate New York Transplant Services, Inc., which is now known as ConnectLife.He has served on the boards at Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, Gateway-Longview, Inc., and the University at Buffalo Law School Alumni Association.Mr. Grimm is proud to have served as a founding member of the Western New York Distance Running Hall of Fame. He has chaired fundraising events for the Leukemia Society of America and the Oshei Children's Hospital of Buffalo.

Mr. Grimm has served on the City of Buffalo Board of Parking and as a Commissioner for the City of Buffalo Municipal Civil Service Commission.
