James P. Bracken
James P. Bracken is counsel to the Buffalo, New York law firm of Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP. He concentrates his practice in the areas of small business law, not-for-profit corporations, and commercial transactions.
Mr. Bracken advises business clients regarding choice of business organization, selection of capital structure, appropriate forms of financing, mergers, acquisitions, sales, dissolution, and other business transactions.
Mr. Bracken advises commercial lenders and business borrowers regarding all types of asset based financing, mortgage lending and federal, state and local financial assistance and incentive programs.
He is admitted to practice in all Courts of the State of New York.

He is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County, New York State Bar Association, and the New York State Corporation Law Committee. He has been involved in several community organizations in East Aurora, NY, where he resides.
Mr. Bracken received his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from University at Buffalo Law School, where he served as a Senior Editor of The Law Review.
