Emily H. O'Reilly is a partner in the Buffalo, New York law firm of Magavern Magavern Grimm LLP. She concentrates her primary practice in Health Care Law, specifically those matters that arise in connection with hospital policy and operations.
Ms. O’Reilly is an experienced litigator and has represented clients in a variety of matters including: Mental Hygiene Law proceedings under Articles Nine (9), Thirty-Three (33), and Eighty-One (81) in connection with retention proceedings, treatment over objection applications, and guardianship proceedings, consecutively; “Z” Docket Family Court proceedings concerning the emergency placement of minors; Fair Hearing issues regarding Medicaid qualification; Emergency Medical Treatment proceedings; Nursing Home Discharge disputes; Land Use and Zoning matters; Commercial Litigation proceedings; Employment Law matters; Collections litigation; and Trusts & Estate proceedings in Surrogates Court. Emily is well versed in hospital policies and procedures and is uniquely qualified to represent those interests in a court of law.

O’Reilly is a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo Law School and has a BA in Public
Relations with Honors from Penn State University. In addition to New York, she
is also admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
